Metal Mickey
was just too frightening for the kids. He was more Dalek than
ambassador of friendly technology. Infact, after his television
series ended in 1989, Metal Mickey approached the producers of
"Doctor Who" to see if he could become the new Dalek
leader after the demise of Davros. Unfortuntely Mickey failed
the Dalek entrance exam.
A period of
out-of-work forced Mickey to take to the streets shoplifting.
Being a fat robot he was easily spotted by the undercover agents,
as he helped himself to La Perla lingerie..
Rather than
a stint in jail the Judge decided Mickey should be melted down
and made into an intelli-fridge. However as intelli-fridges have
yet to catch on Mickey remains unsold in his present self.
